The Tube

She’s going out to forget they were together
All that time he was taking her for granted
She wants to see if there’s more
Than he gave she’s looking for

He calls her up
He’s tripping on the phone
Now he doesn’t want her out there and alone
Now he knows she’s moving it
Knows she’s using it
Now he’s loosing it
She don’t care

Everybody
Put up your hands say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love"
Feel the beat now
If you’ve got nothing left say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”
Back it up now
You’ve got a reason to live say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”
Feeling good now
Don’t be afraid to get down say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”

He was always giving her attention
Working hard to find the things she mentioned
He was dedicated
By most sucka’s hated
That girl was fine
But she didn’t appreciate him

She calls him up she’s tripping on the phone
Now he had to get up and he ain’t coming home
Now he’s trying to forget her
That's how he got with her
When he first met her
When they first got together

To the beat

You got nothing to lose,
Don’t be afraid to get down

We break up it’s something that we do now
Everyone has got to do it sometime
It’s okay
Let it go
Get out there and find some more
It’s too late to be tripping on the phone here
Get off the wire
You know everything is good here
Stop what you’re doing
You don’t wanna ruin
The chance that you got to
Find a new one
Everybody
Put up your hands say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love"
Feel the beat now
If you’ve got nothing left say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”
Back it up now
You’ve got a reason to live say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”
Feeling good now
Don’t be afraid to get down say
"I don’t wanna be in love, I don’t wanna be in love”

Now you know what to do
So come on
Feel it good

The Reappearance

Finally.

Time is on my side.

For now.

The Monday-to-Friday-8-to-5 routine is killing me... and if it wasn't for my usual cliques Johnston & Co., Tim & Co., Myra and Sam I'd be dead by now. This nightly dose of the respirator gives me enough energy to function the next morning, and then something to look forward to once my work is done.

Speaking of work...

I'll be in Store & Inventory for the next 2 weeks (been there for 2 weeks already). Here are my whereabouts for the next 12 months in SGH.

28/04/2008 - 09/05/2008 : Controlled Drugs Room

-Many thanks to Doreen for providing me with this information.

Busy... busy... busy.

Meanwhile, a lil extra information for my fellow P104s, John is in DIS, Xiao Vin and Doreen is in Enforcement and William is doing counselling in OPD, while his sweetheart is all the way in IPD.

And a lil something for the P105s...

If you think you're done with labs - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with PP1 - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with PP3 - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with studying - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with exams - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with strict dresscodes - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with lectures - you're wrong.
If you think you're done with clinical presentations - you're wrong.

...aside from these, you also have to be prepared for:
  • Night shifts (i.e. 1pm to 10pm shifts)
  • On call duties - Pagings and phone calls at ungodly hours (e.g. 3am calls from specialists)

But frankly speaking, it's fun if you're willing to learn. And yes, there are lots to learn. And if you're not interested, then well... just think of the money we're making.

Okay... Enough about work.

Since my last post (the Pre-New Post does not count), I've been hanging out alot with Aussie Myra and Sam. Had loads of fun making fun of the Aussie accent, and yea I've learned a few things here and there. Like how "better" is "beh-ter" to us but "beh-da" to Aussies. And "MOJO" is simply "MO-JO" to us but to dear Myra it becomes "Moi-Joi". In which case, the pub "SOHO" becomes something that sounds like "sohai".

Our MOJO (or MOIJOI in Aus) nightout felt more like a Raya Party. What was suppose to be our Comedy Night turned into a Clubbing Night thanks to an invitation from Sam (and from another). The girls had lots to drink but could still keep their composure. Bravo. Had one helluva night which finally ended at 3am. Glad to see that Myra enjoyed herself as well...

-My favourite picture for the night-

But then again, MOJO was the most recent one. One of the many other nightouts were also occupied with Bla Bla Bla. Unfortunately for me that night, I was so exhausted from a conference I had STRAIGHT AFTER WORK and it lasted for 4 hours! But anyway... the girls had fun... I think.

And before this nightout was a nightout along Waterfront (or Waterside for the Aussie... haha).

But....

I need my sleep.

Need to wake up in 7 hours time.

Til then!
