The Vacation Part 3

Air Asia is building their reputation for being on-time. And yea my flight departed on the dot and I arrived 5 minutes earlier then the scheduled time. How efficient.

Since Air Asia does not offer on-flight meals and it was pass my dinner time, I had to spend 9 bucks on sandwich and a can of Pepsi. It wasn't much of a dinner, but heck... with it I can survive for another few hours. Upon arrival, took a cab to the

FIRST STOP
BREAKERS, SRI HARTAMAS

Met up with Ian, Naz, Amir, Khai Yong and Hans all at the same time. Apparently they already had their dinner and waited for my arrival. Thanks guys.

After meeting up, what else was there to do but
FOOS!

Here's a lil clip of Ian (yellow side) and I (black side) on the table.
And after 2 years of absence from the table...
FOOSER PARTNERS FACE OFF!

Ah. Safe to say I still got it even after 2 years. Although I can't stretch my shots as far anymore. The King Cobra has slithered away... hahaha.
Corny.

Next stop.
The Mamak.

This is definitely one of the most greatly missed hangout spots in KL. Came here straight after foosing with Ian. And thanks to this faithful compadre, I had a place to crash for the night.

Simple but sweet thanks to you bro.

DAY 2
Headed down to Midvalley Megamall and its new wing The Gardens. I never realized I've been gone for THAT LONG. Mid V now has a new wing?? And so Ian brought me to that new wing to have sushi. Apparently it's the new Sushi King - SUSHI ZANMAI!

Great lunch bro. Why don't we have SUSHI ZANMAI in Kuching??

And for nostalgic purposes, we had to make our way to the good ol' Mid V wing.

And for EVEN MORE nostalgic purposes, how can we resist FOOSBALL @ Brewball!
Hahaha.

"Even foosball is racist"

View from Brewball

After a few games of kicking each other's ass (and others as well) and wrecking our wrists til it was badly grazed, we got sick of the game. I do wonder how did I manage to play for the whole day back in college and uni. I guess we were young and full of energy. Now is just work.

Oh well.

Later that evening met up with Naz (again), Nadia and Vic in One Utama. It's been a long while since I last met Vic (5? 6 years?) and she hasn't changed a bit. Well, glad to know =)

And of course the one and only...
Nadia.

And since there were foosball tables in One U... need I say more.

Later that night I crashed in Jeremy's place. Met some new peeps who stay in the same apartment. Nice to meet you Alvin and Amy. Amy was nice enough to lend me her room!
So yea, special thanks to you, Amy.
Note: Her blanket glows in the dark...

DAY 3
Back to One Utama. This time for lunch with the newly working lady Nadia.
This time we could do a proper catching-up-on-things. But of course, it didn't last long since her lunch ended at 2:45pm that Friday.

Then came IRENE! My "adorable" big sister IRENE! I guess we got too busy chatting and catching up that again, I totally forgot bout my camera. She brought me away from One Utama, and made our way to Sunway Pyramid, which we then met up with Chen, then she helped me shop for perfume, then she sent me all the way back to Jeremy's to change, then sent me back to pyramid for dinner with my friends.

See how much of a big sister she is? ;D
Hugs.

By the way, Sunway Pyramid has a new wing too. Man...

This was right outside the entrance of pyramid...
Joe-Flizo. Or Jo-Flizoe? Flo-Jizo? Slo-Jizfoe?
Lo was there too.

HIGHLIGHT FOR THE DAY
With Irene, her best friend,
and my dance-angel Nadia.

Ah. What else can I say about the night...

Woke up again at 11am to start packing for the next day's stop...

DAY 4
Checked in at Cititel Midvalley at 2pm.
Nadia arrived an hour later.
Explored.
Dinner at Sushi King.

THEN!

Sorry no pictures from me. Had to leech from another blog.

Ended at 3am. Hung out til 5am. Slept at 7am. Woke up 10am.
Started packing for the next day... yet again.

DAY 5
Checked out at 1pm. Then met up with the lil cousins.
Tzun Fui all grown up.
And sweet bubbly Kimberly.
*smiles*

Then DINNER WITH THE COLLEGE DUDES!
How long has it been bros? 6 years?
Nick @ Thambi

Kai Hoe @ Mark

E Wei @ Eugene

It's been years since we chilled out like this. The whole gang wasn't around, but hell... it was one helluva ride with these guys back in college and here we were at it again.

Then after the guys...

My take on it: bad bad movie. Bad.
Save the 10 bucks. Go buy yourself a fly-swatter and slap yourself silly for ever anticipating this show. Car chase was only in the first few minutes of the show. There was an airplane chase that wasn't impressive. And who gives a damn.
Guns - minimum.
Technology - none.
Girls - not hot.
Style - I have more. Hehe.

Ending:
Frail old lady "Bond, we want you back"
Bond "I never left"
OooOOohhh.... bad.

But.
The company was great. Such a sweetheart.
Makes the whole night worthwhile.
XXX OOO XXX OOO

DAY 6
Depressing.
Flight at 3:25pm.
And guess who I bumped into at the airport who was also on the same flight??

Yes it's Henry and Chin Loung!
God works in mysterious ways.

This concludes my KL trip broadcast.
Stay tune for more bimbo-mimbo posts.

And for the bitter-sweet lady...

The Vacation

Announcing the flight number
AK 5217
KCH-KLIA (LCCT Terminal)
Wednesday; 5th November 2008; 1910 hours

I'm departing for KAY ELL ladies and gentlemen!
My first vacation away from work for 6 days 5 nights.
Lotsa people to meet in SO LITTLE TIME!
Wish I could take more leave days outta work, but then again
leave days are precious and need to be spent wisely!
Yes they are, my fellow PRP juniors.

And so here are the many many wonderful people that I have to (make a point to) meet since they all hold a very special place in my life.

Since I'll be crashing in the guy's place...

Jeremy
The lawyer friend.
The loyal friend.

Which reminds me of these 2 dudes. Henry & Chin Loung
I wonder if they're still in KL. I think Loung still is...
Where's Henry?

The most-talked-about couple will also be in KL!

Stef and Chen
We'll meet up...
Right?
Well, find some time love birds!

And then there are the fooser buddies!

Ee Yan from "Kota Kinabalu"
Uni buddy and flatmate...
...with Robin and Jason.
Hahaha... remember them bro?

Khai Yong
Yes. This Dragon-ball figure will be a pharmacist soon.
With that hair.
That... hair...

NazO
Talk about noob turned pro (Ok semi-pro)
She da bomb on da table and she will kick your ass when you least expect it!
Oh and did I mention she's a kick-boxer too?
No really. She is.

Aaron with the black, Khai Yong with the Yellow, Ee Yan with the camera

Remember this?
Oh yeah you do!
And guess who's back ma bros
(and Naz)?!
I hope you guys have been foosing enough before I take yo' monay~!

Okay now away from the circle, and back to the hospital. These two colleagues of mine were transferred away from Sarawak General Hospital to KL. I wonder how they got that deal since it was against the oh-so-strict policy.

Yeah they've been awesome as far as colleagues can be, and so Saturday it is girls!

Back to the gang...
Pardon the haphazardness

My last few weeks in Scotland were made much warmer by these few. Oh and Naz, Ee Yan and Khai Yong were part of the gang as well. Unfortunately Van has migrated to Miri, so there will be no Van in KL.

Ee Lynn
Sweet sweet innocent Ee Lynn ;)

Kah Wei
Sweet sweet innocent Kah Wei
If Ee Lynn had a male equivalent... ;)

Amir a.k.a. Budak Melayu
Forehead marks
"Cekodok was here"

Hans
What a dork.
But MAN do we love him...

And yes. My clubbing princess.
Nadia.

Remember your promises!
Cos I remembered mine.
Even after a year.
Euphoria, Sugar, Rush...
I'll let you decide.

And the others who I have to meet (without pictures) are my two cousins Kimberly and Tzun Fui, my two senior colleagues Ms. Yanti and Ms. Tiong, Irene, Vic, Angie, Genevieve, and Nick a.k.a. Thambi.

To all my buddies back home, I'll miss you guys while I'm gone.

If you recognize one or more of the following names...

KENNY SIA
SNOWXWHITE
RAWANG BOY
SZE SHYANG

...then you are eligible to attend the SIN CHEW BLOGGER WORKSHOP!

But if you don't recognize any of the names but are interested in or curious about blogging, bloggers, or the blog sphere, then let them tell you all about how they got theirs started, how they build their following, and how they ended up in fame. What better way to define blogging than to have it told by the ones who really are true bloggers.

30th November 2008
1pm to 3pm
Ticket Price: RM2

The SIN CHEW BLOGGER WORKSHOP is organized by Sin Chew Jit Poh and co-organized by Equator Media and TOPPAX. It's your once in a lifetime chance of meeting these 4 fame-ass bloggers in one place at the same time. And there is no way any other tickets can cost only RM2!

If you're interested, drop me an email.
aaronjosephchang@live.com

So gather up a bunch, purchase the tickets from me, and clap-cheer-boo at your favourite blogger. Have them sign autographs for you wherever you want them to... hehehe.

THE RETURN!

3...

2...

1...

Yes ladies and gentlemen. I am back.

...cos I wanna join in the fun too. It's gonna be one helluva bimbo (or mimbo) blog; posts are all gonna be about the gang, the gang, and nothing else but the gang.

And besides.

What else do I have to do when I get transferred out? Reminisce about them all, and this is how I'm gonna do it. I guess Tim and Gordon has a point after all.

I've got lotsa pictures to put up and lots of events to REPEAT. Hopefully this will update all the other peeps across ocean away from me. Tim also improved in his photography so I will be his self-elected proxy via this bimbo-mimbo blog. Oh and Gordon's too.

STARBOARD PHOTOGRAPHY CREW

Timothy Walter Voon
016-8318682

Gordon Tang
016-8887912

So Tim, Li Ting, Anna, Yien, Gordon, Rose, JF... much to your request, HERE I AM!

So yeah. These pictures have been posted up to my facebook page but they are all without descriptions. They say pictures say a thousand words. Well I've got thousands more to say about them.

At Barry's Lagoon. I first give you Exhibit A.

Anna

Exhibit B

Li Ting

Exhibit C

Yien

And now the guys' turn. Exhibit "Imma-man-child-in-an-office-attire"

Gordon

Exhibit "I-love-foochows"

T-Mo-T

And finally... Exhibit Me

None other.

Photography shootout was at Tim's cousin's lodging which was meant for backpackers. I shall not disclose the location for it is one helluva unique location. And it was Tim's cousin's was his own architect and carpenter! Great work man. Simply great.

After just 8 minutes of tour around the place... we got on to what we were suppose to do.

And then comes The Gordon. With a fuller crew, it was twice the fun. If only the rest were around for this. But the lagoon wouldn't be big enough for 14 of us... would it?

3 lovely ladies. 3 steaming hot men (literally). 2 professional photographers. 1 lagoon.
Hell yeah. LET'S DANCE~!

And then there were shots as pairs...

The girls wanted some time for themselves....

Sigh. Lovely aren't they ;)

And so us guys had our share...

And here's the weave between the two sides.

And lastly our 2 most favourite picture for the day...

AND THIS WE MUST.

JUMP JUMP YO~!

Told you it was gonna be a bimbo-mimbo blog.
Til next time..!

Maybe in another year's time? Who knows...
Hehe.
